- PT Volunteer Coordinator
Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley is looking for a dynamic individual to lead our volunteer program. The position is responsible for the recruiting, scheduling, and educating volunteers for our home building job-sites as well as our ReStores. Showing appreciation for the volunteers and getting their input is key to building last volunteer relationships. Self-motivation, detail orientation and good organizational skills are a must; leadership experience recommended. PT position, 15-25 hours a week $18/hr+ depending on experience. - PT Family Services Engagement Specialist
Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley is looking for a dynamic and caring individual to lead our family services program. This position is responsible for guiding partner families through the home ownership process requiring consistent communication with partner families, applicants and family advocates. Track sweat equity hours, facilitate first-time home buyer education and financial education classes, lead the family selection application process annually. Experience working in the non-profit sector directly with low-income clients is recommended. Self-motivation, detail orientation and good organizational skills a must. July 3rd – First Friday Art Opening at BookCliffs Art Center – This month come check out the dreamy visions of local oil painter, Sara Gallagher! Live music, catered eats, good drinks, great company, wonderful art!! Event is from 5-8pm at the Stone House top of 16th Street in Rifle.
July 3rd – Centennial Concert Series : Symphony and Fireworks – Symphony begins at 6:00 with Fireworks after dark.
July 4th – Cash’d Out Live at The Ute Theater 7:30-10pm. Don’t miss the #1 Johnny Cash Tribute band “Cash’d Out” during their North American Tour. The Johnny and June Carter Cash sound is revived with this incredible act, coming to Rifle for a special July 4th performance. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at City Market or TicketsWest.com.
July 9th – Hilltop Summer Concert Series presents BoneTree from 6-8 for free at the Bookcliffs Art Center (Stone House top of 16th Street in Rifle).
July 9th – Jason Eady at the New Ute Events Center at 7:30. Jason is a can’t miss American country music singer and guitarist. He is regarded as an important figure in the subgenre of Texas country music, a form of “classic country” bent upon returning the music to its historic singer-songwriter roots. July 23rd – Hilltop Concert Series Presents Front Porch Pickers free from 6-8pm at the Bookcliffs Art Center.
